The following terms shall bear the meanings set out below throughout this Agreement. Terms defined in the Privacy Policy of the Platform shall bear the same meaning herein unless otherwise specified.

| "User" | Any natural person who accesses the Platform, whether or not they submit any Content. |
| "Submitting User" | A User who submits any form, Listing, or Content through the Platform. |
| "Community Standards" | The behavioural and content standards set out in Article VII of this Agreement. |
Wave City Connect is a hyperlocal community information platform designed to serve the residents of Wave City, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. The Platform functions as a community notice board and directory, providing a space for residents to discover local services, post community information, and engage with neighbourhood activities.
The Platform is an intermediary within the meaning of Section 2(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and shall be entitled to all protections afforded to intermediaries under applicable law, including the safe harbour provisions of Section 79 of the IT Act, subject to compliance with applicable guidelines.
The Platform is operated by an individual and is not a registered company, partnership firm, or any other incorporated entity. The Operator does not act as a broker, agent, licensor, franchisor, or partner of any User or business listed on the Platform.
By accessing or using the Platform, You represent and warrant that:
The Platform is not intended for use by individuals below the age of eighteen (18) years. The Operator does not knowingly accept Content submissions from minors. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring and supervising minors' access to the Platform.
General browsing of the Platform does not require registration. However, submission of any Content or Listing constitutes agreement to this Agreement and the Privacy Policy, and implies acceptance of the moderation and approval process described herein.
Subject to compliance with this Agreement, the Operator grants You a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for the following purposes only:
By submitting any Content to the Platform, You hereby grant the Operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, worldwide licence to host, display, modify for formatting purposes, and distribute such Content on the Platform and in promotional materials related to the Platform, for the duration of the Content's publication and thereafter in anonymised or aggregated form.
Each Submitting User represents, warrants, and undertakes that:
The Operator does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any User-submitted Content prior to or following approval. The Submitting User bears sole and absolute responsibility for the accuracy and legality of the Content they submit. The Operator's approval of a Listing shall not constitute an endorsement of or warranty as to the accuracy or quality of the Content.
Certain categories of Listings (including business listings, property advertisements, job postings, classifieds, helper recommendations, lost-and-found entries, events, and testimonials) are subject to review and approval by the Operator or authorised administrators prior to publication. Submission of Content does not guarantee publication.
The Operator reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and without any obligation to provide reasons, to:
The Operator is not obligated to actively monitor all Content submitted or published on the Platform. However, upon receiving notice of Content that violates this Agreement or applicable law, the Operator shall take expeditious action to review and, if appropriate, remove such Content, in accordance with the safe harbour provisions of Section 79 of the IT Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Users who identify Content on the Platform that they believe to be false, misleading, harmful, or unlawful are encouraged to report the same to the Operator at nehas9470@gmail.com with the subject line "Content Report — [Description]". The Operator shall acknowledge such reports within seventy-two (72) hours.
Users shall not, under any circumstances, use the Platform to engage in any of the following prohibited activities. Breach of this Article constitutes a material breach of this Agreement and may result in immediate termination of access, in addition to civil and criminal liability under applicable law.
Submitting false, fabricated, deceptive, or materially misleading business listings, job postings, property advertisements, testimonials, or any other Content.
Listing non-existent properties, fake employment opportunities, counterfeit goods, or any Content designed to defraud, deceive, or financially harm other Users or third parties.
Posting Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, violence, or harassment on the basis of religion, caste, race, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability.
Publishing false statements of fact about any individual or business that may damage their reputation, whether through direct statements or by implication.
Submitting obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful content as defined under Section 67 of the IT Act, 2000, and the Indian Penal Code / Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
Advertising, soliciting, or facilitating the sale or exchange of illegal goods, controlled substances, counterfeit products, unlicensed firearms, or any article prohibited under Indian law.
Submitting duplicate, mass-generated, or automated submissions; using bots, scripts, or other automated tools to interact with the Platform without express written authorisation.
Posting another person's personal data, contact information, photographs, or identifying details without their consent; stalking, harassment, or impersonation of any individual.
Submitting Content that reproduces, copies, or infringes upon the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party without authorisation.
Attempting to hack, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform; introducing malware, viruses, or malicious code; scraping or harvesting data without permission.
The Platform provides a community space for residents to share property-related information. The Operator expressly disclaims the following:
All intellectual property in the Platform, including but not limited to the trade name "Wave City Connect," the Platform's design, layout, user interface, original editorial content, and code, is owned by or licensed to the Operator and is protected under applicable intellectual property law. No portion of the Platform may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially exploited without the prior written consent of the Operator.
Notwithstanding the licence granted in Article V, each Submitting User retains ownership of their respective Content. The licence granted to the Operator is limited to the purposes specified in this Agreement and does not transfer ownership of User Content to the Operator.
If You believe that any Content published on the Platform infringes Your copyright, please submit a written complaint to nehas9470@gmail.com containing:
The Operator shall expeditiously review and take appropriate action on valid copyright complaints, in accordance with applicable law.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT THEREON ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. THE OPERATOR SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable to any User or third party for any:
In any event, the aggregate liability of the Operator to any User arising out of or related to this Agreement, howsoever arising, shall not exceed the amount of Indian Rupees One Thousand (₹1,000) or the maximum amount permitted under applicable law, whichever is lesser. This limitation applies even if the Operator has been advised of the possibility of such loss.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Operator, and any authorised administrators, from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination or expiry of this Agreement.
This Agreement shall commence on the date You first access the Platform and shall continue until terminated by either party in accordance with the provisions hereof.
The Operator reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate Your access to the Platform, and to remove any Content submitted by You, at any time and without prior notice, in the following circumstances:
Upon termination of this Agreement:
The Operator reserves the right to amend, supplement, or replace this Agreement at any time, without prior notice. The most current version of this Agreement shall be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date. Users are encouraged to review this Agreement periodically.
Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of any amendment constitutes Your binding acceptance of the revised Agreement. If You do not agree to any modification, Your sole recourse is to discontinue use of the Platform.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, as applicable.
The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of competent jurisdiction located at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India for the resolution of all disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement, except where the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 confers jurisdiction on Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions.
Nothing in this Article shall prejudice the right of a User who qualifies as a "consumer" under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, to approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for redressal of any grievance.
Prior to initiating formal legal proceedings, the parties agree to make reasonable good faith efforts to resolve any dispute through informal communication. Users may contact the Operator at nehas9470@gmail.com with the subject line "Dispute — [Brief Description]". The Operator shall endeavour to respond within fourteen (14) days.
This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between the Operator and each User with respect to the use of the Platform and supersedes all prior communications, understandings, and agreements.
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be void, invalid, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
The failure of the Operator to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. A waiver of any particular breach shall not be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach.
Nothing in this Agreement shall create or be deemed to create any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, or employment relationship between the Operator and any User.
The Operator shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance of obligations under this Agreement resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, power outages, server failures, natural disasters, pandemics, or actions of third-party service providers.
This Agreement is drafted in the English language. In the event of any translation being made available, the English language version shall prevail in all circumstances.

This Agreement has been approved and adopted by the Operator as of the Effective Date stated herein. By accessing the Platform, You confirm that You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
